Thomas Mann and Norm Ornstein talked about their new book, It's Even Worse Than It Looks: How the American Constitutional System Collided with the New Politics of Extremism. In the book they examined the adversarial partisan behavior of Washington, D.C. policy makers that leaves a majority-rule system dysfunctional. They placed much of the blame on Republican Party ideological extremism.
